Local Consignment Shops:
Items that are still in great condition that you no longer want or need are able to be sold at consignment shops. Out of site, out of mind! My only rule is that once out of your home, it doesn’t come back in. You’ve made the decision to get rid of it, so don’t bring it back if it doesn’t sell. Donate it instead.
Consignment shops are also great resources when you are looking for organizing items like baskets and containers or want to freshen up your home. Generally inexpensive and fun to hunt for the perfect new-to-you item that brings you joy! By buying second hand, you don’t add to the waste stream!
